John Burrell, High Adventure's President and CEO, has been an avid outdoorsman since childhood. One of the most respected professionals in the business, John has years of experience managing one of the nation's top sporting destinations. He also formed a successful international outfitting firm for outdoor power house Mossy Oak/Haas Outdoors and was the youngest partner in their recreational real estate firm Mossy Oak Properties. A Certified Wildlife Biologist and award-winning outfitter, his destinations have been featured in most of the world's top sporting publications as well as The New York Times and Southern Bride magazine. He is the exclusive agent for one of ESPN's top outdoor programs, Get Wild with Cindy Garrison and in 2007 was featured weekly on ESPN's Under Wild Skies. John takes pride in providing all his clients the best experience possible and always goes the extra mile to ensure that quality.
Amy Hunt, V.P. Operations, joined the HA/SA team in 2001, bringing with her several years of experience managing travel agencies for one of the largest travel companies in the United States. She is responsible for running the day-to-day travel side of the company. Amy's attention to detail is the perfect complement to John's knowledge, ensuring that each client's trip is planned to the last detail. Her expertise in travel planning, attention to detail, and airline ticketing make her an invaluable member of the team.
The newest member of the team, Lisa Adams, came to the company in the summer of 2005. She works closely with John in taking care of the logistics of clients' trips, as well as working in numerous other areas of the company from airline ticketing, to database management, to developing marketing materials.
