Argentina Dove Hunting

There is good, there is great, and there is extraordinary. Dove hunting in Argentina is without question dove hunting at its very best. High Adventure Company was one of the pioneers of dove shooting in Argentina; and along with our Argentine partner, we have built some of the finest dove lodges in the country.

We can customize packages ranging from the most affordable to the ultimate in luxury.  Speak with one of our experts and let us help to determine which lodge is the best fit based upon your party’s budget and needs.

A Dove Hunt

Argentina is synonymous with the best high volume dove hunting and for good reason. You can hunt these non-migratory year-round with great consistency. With a dove population ranging from 20 to 25 million combined with our great bird roosts, you’ve got a proven recipe for successful dove hunting!

After a leisurely breakfast at the lodge, it’s time to depart for the field. In as little as two minutes and never more than an hour, you will be placed in the middle of the highest volume of shooting in the country. You will then be assigned a bird boy to look after your every need, including shells and drinks.  The doves will do the rest.

Return to the lodge for lunch and a siesta following a magnificent morning hunt, or relax in the field in grand style while enjoying a world famous asado or barbeque.

Dove Hunting Habitat

The habitat in the Cordoba region of Argentina varies from large-scale agriculture tracts consisting of soybeans, sorghum, and corn to thickly brushed tracts of rolling hills where the birds typically roost.  The agricultural areas are generally hunted from January through late May, and the hills are often hunted from June through November.

Dove Hunting Season

Doves are hunted year-round in Argentina, with April through November being the most popular time for visiting hunters.
