Join us for high quality duck hunting without long exhausting travels. Through years of experience in Argentina, our partners have crafted a premium, first-class duck hunting experience.
Chascomus has an abundantly rich water system of lakes, marshes, potholes and canals that is a well-managed natural resource. This year, with the frequent rains, many of the ducks that normally travel over the summer months have stayed and bred in the area, making very favorable conditions for the up-coming season.
We provide consistency group to group, year after year. We use a highly efficient and aggressive feeding schedule to provide quality hunts for all our clients, morning and afternoon. Over the past few seasons all of our groups have easily reached or surpassed our daily limits regardless of drought, high water, full moon, and everything in between.
Our staff are highly qualified and responsible. All of our guides are English speaking, always on time, prepared, and understand the importance of a good hunt. The guide will expertly set the blind, position the decoys according to wind and sun conditions, and call the ducks. Our goal is for the clients to enjoy the shooting and relax, while we handle the rest.
Estancia La Plegaria offers comfortable and reasonable travel times for guests traveling internationally. An overnight plane ride, a quick 1 hour and 15 min. van ride and you can find yourself unpacked, enjoying snacks and a beverage in front of the fire, waiting for lunch to be served at noon. Most importantly lakes, marshes, potholes, and canals that offer arguably the best duck hunting in the world are just minutes away. Our operation is situated close to both the domestic and international airport and sits in the middle of our duck hunting properties. Our longest drive from the estancia to the blind is 35 minutes. In the mornings we commonly pull up to the blinds in less than 20 minutes. Additionally we have special properties that give us easy access for days when we get large rainstorms.
Our fine Argentine estancia is commonly referred to as “highly polished”. Estancia La Plegaria is the ideal setting for duck hunting. With 6 single rooms, most with queen beds and fireplaces, even large groups have the opportunity to have separate rooms. Three-course dinners are served in front of the fireplace and lunches are served at the poolside indoor barbecue room with a 360-degree view of the meticulous gardens. The menus have been refined, through years of experience, to suit American tastes while still maintaining the Argentine traditions and flavors.
