Sporting Classics Magazine described Port Eads as “…the number one marina and fishing destination in the Gulf of Mexico.”
High Adventure Company has expertise in developing and operating some of the top sporting destinations in the world, and they are dedicated to providing their clients with an unforgettable experience. High Adventure has partnered with the top boats and captains in the region to bring clients the best fishing that the Gulf of Mexico and Mississippi River Delta marshes have to offer.
The waters at the mouth of the Mississippi River have been often described as the most fertile waters in the world. The combination of these nutrient rich waters, in close proximity to the continental shelf, sets the stage for one of the planet’s most incredible fisheries. Port Eads anglers will have the options to fish the nearby blue water in search of the giant tuna and marlin that call the Gulf home, bottom fish offshore rigs for some of the most desired species on the table, or head into the adjacent marshes for the tackle busting giant bull redfish and speckled trout that first made this fishery famous.
Venice, Louisiana is known as the Redfish capital of the world for good reason. Twelve months out of the year, anglers can expect to catch good numbers of redfish. The best months for trophy bull redfish on the fly are July through February. The best speckled trout inshore fishing takes place in the months of March through December. When you book a trip with Port Eads Outfitters, you will enjoy fishing from state-of-the-art center console bay boats or polling skiffs using flyrods or conventional tackle.
Anglers will return each day from fishing to the marina where they will enjoy professionally prepared delicious local fare and regional cuisine to round out their Port Eads experience. With accommodations for up to 48 anglers, Port Eads is the perfect destination for both small private groups, or for corporate entertaining.
Guided inshore fishing packages are priced per angler per day and include one night of lodging and meals at Port Eads Marina. Fishing licenses, gratuities, and alcoholic beverages are not included.
