Hawaiian Big Game Hunts

“The best deer hunt in the world!” – Jim Shockey

Join us in paradise for an experience of a lifetime on one of our Hawaiian Big Game Hunts. Home to the largest population of free range Axis deer, the 90,000-acre Hawaiian island of Lanai is undoubtedly one of the most spectacular hunting destinations in the world. Add in an abundance of Mouflon sheep and you’ll have another great reason to take advantage of all Lanai has to offer.

In addition to breathtaking scenery, our big game hunting tours feature luxurious accommodations at the Four Seasons Lanai and the unrivaled expertise of our trusted partners, the Pineapple Brothers. Unlike international destinations, it is easy to transport your personal firearms to this exotic domestic destination.

Axis Deer Hunts in Hawaii

High Adventure Company and the Pineapple Brothers are honored to have been entrusted with the land and wildlife management for the island of Lanai and are committed to the conservation of its endemic species.  We also support the local economy, with a portion of all harvests going to farm-to-table markets.

Axis Hunting

Hunters can expect to see hundreds of deer per day and for extra versatility, long-range shooting benches are strategically positioned throughout the island.

A valid Hawaiian hunting license and a hunter safety certificate are required for each participant.

Hawaii Hunting Habitat

Lanai is a truly unique hunting destination. You can spot and stalk Axis deer in a large, flat plain known locally as ‘the Serengeti” or hunt Mouflon sheep in the steep, heavily forested mountainous region along the shores.
