Hawaii Big Game Hunting

Join us in paradise for the big game hunting trip of a lifetime. Home to the largest population of free range Axis deer, the 90,000-acre Hawaiian island of Lanai is undoubtedly one of the most spectacular hunting destinations in the world. Add in an abundance of Mouflon sheep and you’ll have another great reason to take advantage of all Lanai has to offer.

In addition to breathtaking scenery, our big game hunting tours feature luxurious accommodations at the Four Seasons Lanai and the unrivalled expertise of our trusted partners, the Pineapple Brothers. Unlike international destinations, it is easy to transport your personal firearms to this exotic domestic destination.

High Adventure Company and the Pineapple Brothers are honored to have been entrusted with the land and wildlife management for the island of Lanai and are committed to the conservation of its endemic species.  We also support the local economy, with a portion of all harvests going to farm-to-table markets.

Hunters can expect to see hundreds of deer per day and for extra versatility, long-range shooting benches are strategically positioned throughout the island.

A valid Hawaiian hunting license and a hunter safety certificate is required for each participant.

Lanai is a truly unique hunting destination. You can spot and stalk Axis deer in a large, flat plain known locally as ‘the Serengeti” or hunt Mouflon sheep in the steep, heavily forested mountainous region along the shores.

Hunting is available year round, with the best time for trophy hunts occurring from April to September.

Enjoy luxurious accommodations at the Four Seasons Lanai, considered by many to be the number one Four Seasons resort in the world. In addition to world-class hunting and lodging, guests can enjoy amenities such as a Jack Nicklaus designed golf course, pristine beaches, and a top-rated spa. A mouthwatering array of culinary choices awaits, including: Nobu (the world’s most recognized Japanese restaurant), 140 (a classical American steakhouse with a unique spin on Hawaiian seafood) and Malibu Farm (a less formal, low-key, gourmet poolside bistro).

Enjoy morning coffee or evening cocktails poolside as you watch whales or dolphins in their natural setting. Other activities include snorkeling, scuba diving, surfing, horseback riding, hiking, bird-watching, off-road excursions, biking and helicopter tours.

Just nine miles off the coast of Maui, Lanai is a short trip from both Honolulu International Airport and Maui’s Kahulai Airport.  Arrive on the island via Lanai Air, Ohana Air or Expeditions ferry.

Lanai experiences a tropical climate with average temperatures ranging from 60 to 80 degrees.

Lanai is home to a world-class sporting clays course as well as archery, pistol and rifle ranges. The sporting clays course is one of the most picturesque of any we’ve seen and can be enjoyed by beginner and expert shooters alike. Coming soon, a state-of-the-art 1,200 yard rifle range designed by elite long-range shooters.
